USA not a signatory to UN Mercenary Convention

rudeboy but guess what USA is not a signatory to this but is ofcourse a UN KEY member. hmmmm democracy at its best ;) and US contractors working aboard can only be punished by USA courts. So if some contractors kills an iraqi in iraq he will only be prosecuted in USA not IRAQ. So he will get lets say 10 years in USA whereas if prosecuted in Iraq he could get a life sentence as per the Sharia laws. So is this fair? For USA to use mercenaries even though UN doesnt allow it and why doesnt the UN ban or put embargo on USA for this?? Honestly speaking its not fair for USA to get away with such things yet the whole focus is on Islam and Muslim Terroists. Why dont people open their eyes and see how USA government and USA armed forces & contractors are bunch of terroists themselves??
shafique The US harbours many international terrorists. Notably ones involved in bombing campaigns in Cuba (and many others involved in South American atrocities). Chomsky points out in 'Hegemony or Survival' that logically, Cuba would be justified in bombing Miami because the US is aiding and giving succour to terrorists - but of course, this is ridiculous and can only be used as an excuse by nations with mighty armies. And then only against weak nations that can't fight back!! The US also refuses to sign up to the International Court of Justice - precisely because it wants to be above international law! (As does Israel) Cheers, Shafique
