Urgent - Can anyone confirm or deny this ?


fayz Yeah I know, without name it is difficult but we do have age, date of possible passing, and potential cause of, it is a start.
Dubai Knight Hi Fayz, This is a great link, however we have no idea of Snipers real name. The page only shows the current days obits but there is a search function. Hashman said he passed away on the 28th. April. With a proper name I might be able to track something down. Last one was on 24th. April. I can still only hope it is not true. Will they have had time to post anything like this? The date given was the 28th, which is nearly 3 weeks ago. They may not have published yet, but getting hold of the editorial staff might be an answer.

GoodBai I don't know whether this has occured to anyone else at all. But if this is true, then perhaps all this would have been the very last thing he would have wanted. When someone suffers from cancer they tend to think of themselves as the "cancer patient" and others think of them as the "cancer patient". They can get overwhelmed in a world of treatment and wringing of hands. Sometimes it is the most theraputic and refreshing thing for them to leave this behind and just be treated by everyone else as an ordinary person and not as the patient. And, in this case, just as any other member of the forum... someone who posts, has a laugh, gets involved in rows and, most of all, joins the banter with everyone else without the sad and sympathetic looks from others. Hence, the last thing they maybe would want to do on here is be treated as the cancer patient by telling everyone about their predicament. Perhaps the whole thing has been kept quiet because that was the way they wanted it to be. And maybe that should be respected now, and just let it go. I don't mean to be disrespectful to people who are genuinely worried and shocked over someone they have come into contact with on this forum but maybe it does need to be looked at from another perspective. ... and admins can't log in to people's accounts (passwords are encrypted) without changing the password first. Easiest is probably to ask admin (Andy?) to send an email to Hashman - s/he'll be able to see Hashman's email address when logged in.
Admin could look through PMs in the database but they're stored in a separate table so I don't think it's easy to find specific PMs. Maybe if you're good with mySQL you can do a search on a username for PMs. I'm not, so I'm only guessing. sharewadi

Couple of things:
You can't reveal whose name? Sniper or Mike's? Because I would think if you can't reveal snipes then it must be a prank and he would think that someone would get mad at the prank and if his name is known it won't be a good idea. You do not need to give the name to everyone of course but simply pm one person. Since arniegang posted the "topic" then send it to him. I trust that arnie will simply l confirm what the true story is and will inform the rest (without ever revealing the name). For one I don't care about the name but it appears everyone is concernd for his fate.
You could also reveal sniper's cell phone # (again to arniegang only) and that number can be tracked to a name, address etc. Think of it, cell phone numbers are freely divulged nowadays so you would not be revealing anyones name. arniegang Hashman I would appreciate it if you would pass me the info and links you have regarding Sniper via pm. I did traced Hashman's posts and his joining date and would say it one hell of coincident. First post is to support Sniper420, then the most other posts are also in favor of Sniper420 and in the end... there is a post by Hashman that Sniper is the only one replied too......!!!!
Also that Hashman didn't participate for months... then appear with this info!!!!!!
Well i didn't want to complicate things and say they are the same person.
Looking over the internet for Sniper i found him in many, many, many, many forums...... makes me still think that they might be the same person and it is just a trick with nothing to confirm my IDea.....
Anyway, please keep us updated if this Hashman replied to confirm they are different people
one last thing... how come Hashman was not able to help to confirm the even of the death, and now claming quoting him

Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (used in India and Pakistan) has become a slang reference for a confidence trickster. Such criminals are sometimes called 420 in popular culture in those countries.

The only common denominator is IP Port 68 and this is a IP. The majority of Hashmans Ip's are behind a hidden proxy, making the IP addy impossible to obtain. The majority of Snipers posts are from his campus IP. I dont think there is anymore mileage left until Hashman responds to my questions. I have serious doubts that he will. Although i remain somewhat open minded, i have serious suspicions as to the authenticity of Hashman. I hope he proves me wrong. Liban
