University/College people?

allinthefamily Just wondering, are there any university/college-going people on this forum? Is the UOWD campus still in KV or has it shifted to Academic City? Misery Called Life still in KV, dnt think they r shiftin anytime soon....But I'm almost done with UOWD, will gradute by june, and then will immediately join middlesex 4 a masters... UOWD started off with a campus on Jumeriah Beach which looked like a shopping Center. later they moved to KV and still there. redtilldead me in Heriot Watt.

That's good, Academic City's miles from anywhere..though they only reccently opened a foodcourt. Misery Called Life Before these guys keep opening academics cities, and K. villages, they should rectify their food prices, ASAP! I spent whooping amounts, only on food! I mean world over, at educational centers of importance, food prices are subsidised, here it's the opposite! Seriously, wat a sham....... I should have gone to Aus to study, i was just too lazy, and a lil apprehensive! My bad! Besides there is a shortage of teaching talent in Dubai, so there i serious poaching going on...... In the present circumstances, b4 joining any college here, see if u can do some research on the faculty! Hi, Im doing Mechanical Engineering from Heriot Watt Univeristy Dubai Campus. Quite satisfied with the course though you obviously cant campare the size of campus to the one in Edinburgh.

Architectural universities are seriously limited in the GCC region, so if you're considering the major another faculty would be a better option. Let me know what your planning on taking on and I might be able to help out. I guess it depends on which course you are looking at and where you are coming from. G to tha T anything business related. catalyst one week more , i will be graduated and get my BSc .. I am looking forward for MSc .. however , I have to fund my study ..
