The following is termed, open fracture (meaning that there is a bone fracture and an overlying open wound) of the pelvis (near your hip).
The patient is male. Mechanism of injury was falling in the surf on the fin of the surf board.

Or maybe you( or the mods) could delete the first pic and only keep the illustration. That's looks super painful. Emotionally and Physically. When you see stuff like this is just makes you respect your body so much more! So how do you deal with the fracture? You put him on a brace and he stays bedridden for a long while? How will this affect his other prostate activities? What if the man was wearing a crotch guard ( the ones cricketers normally wear) Would that have been on any help in possibly averting the fracture?
