If you think "TOM AND JERRY" are agrasive?
then what do you think about "Digital Heroes" or ab6al aldigital? or Jimy Neutran or Scooby Doo and many other new and really agrasive cartoons.
we all watched Tom and Jerry and I don't think it really gave as any thing harmful or nigative.
The aim of Tom and Jerry is to show us or the kids the the who starts the fight will loose!!

i do not disagree with you but i was just stating the fact that kids do not know the difference. I agree there alot of stuff that are not meant for kids but they are. i am not sure if tom and jerry is violent though, i have watched it ages ago.

all my childhood i was watched tom & jerry and i didnt imbibe any of the vices. so far so good :oops:

the point of view from you people here....
The thing is that I've noticed that this Cartoon
is pretty agressive, for little kids this isn't good
is what I think, because they're little and such stuff
will be carved in their heads which will support being
a rebel+ mean+ agressive+ doin stuff they think won't hurt..etc.
figurin those stuff, I said that if I have kids I won't let 'em
watch "Tom & Jerry" I want my kids to be good guys, not mean!
I know I know, "Tom & Jerry" is a cool cartoon and we all enjoy watchin it!

i cant believe we r discussing tom and jerry now.... let me add my two bits to this discussion and then i will just comment on something else related to the topic....
i personally feel tom and jerry is just pure clean fun.... i grew up watching the cartoon and i have yet to find any negative influence due to it...
but since we r on the topic of cartoons... do u really think kids these days watch that much tom and jerry? what with all the new age 'cartoons' like beyblade and pokemon..... (by the way i still cant figure out what kids like in all these new cartoons.... i guess the phrase old is gold is very true in this matter.... the days of tom and jerry and bugs bunny and popeye were golden...)
back to what i was saying about kids watching tom and jerry... a few days ago, iwas at a relatives place and some kids there were all excitedly watching beyblade (or maybe it was pokemon).... the show finished and it was shownthat the next show is tom and jerry.... i sat up and was looking forward to it.... but these kids they just got up and switched off the tv and went off to play..... i was shocked.... when i was a kid i would never have given up a chanceto watch the show.... well not just when i was a kid, but now also i still like watching it....

If you think Tom and Jerry is violent, wait till you see Itchy and Scratchy in The Simpsons. In fact there was an episode there all about what this thread is all about.
