To Name & Shame or Move On & Rely on Karma

thsmbradford I mentioned in previous posts that I was hoping to move to Dubai soon. Indeed I have had a series of successful interviews that lead me to believe that an offer was on the way any day. Imagine my surprise when my recruiter mentioned to me that the employer was not in a position to offer the post because they had not secured the contract in support of my job. What? I have been through 10 weeks of interviews 6 all together and I submitted an assessment all satisfactorily. To make matters worse this is the second time this happened. Once with a local firm and the second time with an Anglo American firm. Each time I've been told my interviews have been grand. The reviews have been excellent.... So, shall I name and shame the recruiter and the firms? Is this common? I am fit to be tied.
g00se OF COURSE ! I do believe this is common here. The whole promise-the-earth-and-deliver-fk-all is VERY common here ! Maybe the recruiters themselves did not know, but I have found these international recruiters to be typical of the recruiter types. Not good. English Girlie :violent1: How do companies get away with behaving like this??
