What is going on over there in Dubai guys? I just got my news paper, 4000 workers on strike and walking the streets
smashing police cars and public properties asking for higher salaries and more buses from their company !!! is it really that bad ? why only in dubai ,what company? Who owns it ? what kind of shitty contracts they got them selves in ?

If the UAE does not change its monetary system currently pegged to the $US, then more than likely we will see alot of the highly skilled Expats leaving as well.
Why bother signing a 3 year contract where there is no allowance for a depreciating currency and spiralling inflation?
What makes it worse, the $US has alot further to fall.
I don't blame them for striking.
The money they get is an absolute joke for what they have to put up with.
