TEHRAN (MNA) – The Tehran Jewish Committee released a statement on Thursday condemning the recent riots in Tehran which followed the presidential election results and called on Iranians to preserve their unity.
“Considering the guidelines of the Supreme Leader on preserving unity, refraining from schism and rift…the society of Iranian Jews denounces the efforts of some opportunist individuals who have targeted the security, peace, and the unity of Iranians by creating chaos and damaging public properties,” part of the statement said.
The committee added it denounces any behavior which is against the “Iranian culture”.
