In this country, we have individual parties that can require investigations about certain issues like immigration.
This doesn't mean its a broad based support from the current government. This is opposition that wants to see what the costs are of immigration of non-Westerners.
In my eyes, you can see this from a positive and negative perspective, with the positive perspective being the fact that you have insight in the progression of value to a high skilled society as the Netherlands.
We pay 30 to 55 percent income taxes. Next to Value Added Taxes of 19 percent on products and services and a gallon of gasoline costs approx. 7-8 dollar....Are you kidding me?
Of course its justified whether immigrants contribute or merely costs money to the taxpayers. Hell, thats what the opposition is elected for!! To assess the policies of the government and discuss them!
Although the highlight of Mr. Wilders PVV party maybe with immigration. He does have an overall social program that really protects the interest of our nation.
Have you seen how high we score on foreign aid and what else? We pay one of the highest contributions to the EU as the smallest country! We demand good policy and eliminate wasteful spending.

Well I know a few friends who got nationality ( Jawaz : passport ) but not Citizenship ( jinsiya ) Only in the UAE. Where you can be a national but not a citizen !?
Which basically means you can stay in this country without a visa but you have none of the rights of a full on citizen
