So there you are with your job in Dubai, then due to one reason or another, you are terminated. Do you have any options ? any recourse ? anyone to tell that you have only been terminated because the boss will lose his job to you, or maybe they have found someone willing to work for less ?
What happens when your company cancels your visa and therefore your wife's visa ? Can they just throw you out of the company apartment with a few days notice ?
Is there any means whereby you can avoid the dreaded 6 month ban ?

i'd suggest that you take the matter up with the labour department. they are quiet helpful, and if circumstances dicate will overturn the ban issue.
you can still be banned while you are in the probation period. if you are terminated within the probation period and go to the labour department, the employer will try to make out that you weren't an effective employee and that is why is terminating your contract early. you wil have to have a very good case, witnesses or proof to convince them that your employer is treating you unfairly
