Teen Rape victime tests ngative for HIV

Concord
fck me...sorry I asked...*Mr. Eiestein can you explain 'relative velocity and quantum mechanics again - it seemed simple*
p.s. you could probably get a cheap hair cut in Karama.... just tell them you know HP.
Dubaidude007 The french teen who was raped over by an HIV positive man has tested negative for HIV, his journalist mother has announced. This is good news but why do I get the feeling that this has become a money making scheme for the victim and his family? Not saying a sexual assualt did not occour, just that now the focus seems to have shifted on how much money they can make off this. reviewer
What made you say that..? ^ian^ A lot of questions have to be asked about this... most of them about this thing that masquerades as law in this country. Why did the police turn the father away when he made the original complaint? Why was nothing done until the embassy was involved? Why did it take so long for the wheels of justice to turn? And most importantly, why was an Emirati man who was supposed to be in gaol from a previous offence out and about and raping people's children? You won't find these questions being asked or answered in any local newspaper. reviewer
Indeed, none of it came out until the victims embassy staff became involved. The authorities tend to brush such incident under the carpet especially rape as its a very sensitive and social taboo to be talked about. Then tend to deny that such atrocious incidents can ever happen even Islamic states. rudeboy
errr you want to tell me who on this forum is saying that such things dont happen in an Islamic state??
Wait lets go to the Vatican city and see what the old preists are up to ;).
no1 is perfect in this world and it doesnt help when you say that they " tend to deny that such atrocious incidents can ever happen even Islamic states". No1 on the forum is denying it. things like this happen but they also happen in UK, USA and so on.
It would have been better if you had something like this "Then tend to deny that such atrocious incidents can ever happen even here". rudeboy

Did I ever mention that any in DF is denying this thing, in connection to the story above, if you really have followed the the incident, which you didn't the way they handle these kind of incident is clear indication that they are in total denial.

Who said this a perfect world, if it were'nt for the involvement of the victim's embassy; this case would have gone to the trash...Im not being cynical when I said the word Islamic state of which UAE is..or neither am I putting a blame on an Islamic state.... reviewer Thus your 3 posts meant your that furious....or was it a case of TPS only.....or maybe both?

Stylinexpat if I was them I would not even bother filing a lawsuit because the will probably be pardoned in the end. When they get pardoned everything thing against them gets put aside including what the court ordered them to pay and their jail sentences. Ramadan comes around every year and every year the Sheikh pardons almost ever local in prison... lailah84
I only knew that here.. so does it also mean that when expats here are killed by some locals they will still be pardoned??  Stylinexpat
You would be surprised how many locals get pardoned for various crimes. When the get pardoned they get pardoned from jail time and all sums of money due against them. In my opinion it is a crook sponsoring a crook if he pardons a criminal/crook without paying his dues on his behalf. firefingers
Both of you idiots should be surprised looking at where you came from and shitty country system you lived in.
It is called forgiveness!!giving people other chance in life. It is something we believe in.
And why not get out of it for killing expats ? he is just an expat lailah84 bonk
His mother works for a press agency, I think Associated Press. Case was widely reported in international media, some of those reports were in the local newspapers. bonk
Now don't be shy when it comes to expressing your feelings triggerfinger ...

Unless they're expats, right  ? Stylinexpat
If you forgive someone then you have to pay their dues after one has gone through your local court system. So much for idiots

Is that a mistake or was a Boy raped? Concord
Not a mistake. A boy was raped by some HIV positive adult. Was headline news, but got outstaged by another "rape" story - Gang raped Saudi woman got 200 lashes for being alone with the 7 unrelated males who raped her (she was pardoned!).
bonk Yes, boy, 16 I think. Khaleej Times has today, and summary. Concord
Bonk, how do you do that "hyperlink" stuff... it is in all your posts..cool St.Lucifer
i dont know link...whooot Concord
simple if you have an It masters. I've got an IT_Moron Degree (feel some commnaradity with Net Nannies here). ^ian^ Concs, hit the quote button and look how it is structured. ^ian^
I know people with IT degrees that can't do the simplest stuff.
Not that I know what people with IT degrees should know... St.Lucifer
but... U've been picked for using the quote function rather well.... reviewer
Simple......and ..get it... bonk
Sure :). Apologies if some of what I state is obvious.
0. It helps if you have forum topic and other website open in 2 separate windows, or tabs. Use [Alt] + [Tab] to quickly switch between windows, [Alt] + [Tab] to switch between tabs.
1. Select/highlight and Copy (Ctrl+c) the link you want to link to (from Address bar in browser)
2. Go to new post in topic, select/highlight text you want to do the link thing with.
3. Click on the URL box above post box (this won't work if javascript disabled - then you have to type the URL tags).
4. The text should be surrounded by [color=black][[/color]url] and [color=black][[/color]/url] tags.
5. Put the cursor between the "l" and the "]" of the first tag and type "="
6. Make sure cursor is between the "=" and the "]" of the first tag. Paste (Ctrl+v) the link you copied in step 1.
Submit.
As ian said, click on quote for one of my posts to see what it looks like. M! does one of the comments so far even mention what luck this little bugger had after all what happend to him???? NO but we are talking about pardoning and how to set a hyperlink..... hello? I hope that he ever will forget what happend to him, but i seriously doubt it! Anyways wanna wish him a better future & life as what he had so far. Take care Yanni bonk
It's easier than it looks, I just went over the top on detail because I didn't know what to assume you knew (and also for anyone else reading).
Short version is select text, click on URL tag button, insert "=" and link, and submit.

Sure :). Newton said relative velocity is the difference between the velocities of two objects. Einstein said yes, as an approximation at low speeds but ... At light, or close to, speeds it doesn't matter how fast two objects are going, the difference will never be greater than the speed of light (actually, that's not what he said but it might illustrate the point better).
Newton mechanics tells you in which direction a pool ball will go depending on the angle by which it is hit. Quantum mechanics explains why, if you hit a very small white ball towards a red ball, they change colors when they meet (again, I've abused the theory somewhat to make an abbreviated point).

I go to Satwa. Karama is too chic for me  . bonk
I thought the first page did. M! OOHHH YEAH GREAT
....
i dont read it that way, especially what is coming after these 5 words.... which is good but..... it focuses more on what comes after that BUT...
Do you think this is OK or more than enough in that case? :? freza Why are we not hearing the other side to this story? The alleged abductors/rapists also have a right to tell their side of the story. We're only hearing one side. I don't know...it feels a bit weird the way the mother of this kid handled this situation. why go to the media? Yeah, the police weren't doing much, but that's nothing exclusive to the UAE! Sadly victims need to fight for their rights almost everywhere. But..why the interviews? Why go so public? The public over-exposure is something that could haunt this kid for a lot longer than the rape itself.... bonk
That's why there's a court case. So they can tell their side. Which has also been reported in the media. St.Lucifer
yeah ..and they said.. We dont know English or french.. we dont understand what's being written on the news papers.. but we havent done anything that we are accused of doing to that boy.
 reviewer
Yeah after all the news written in both English and Arabic newspaper and they still dare to say they dont know and didnt do anything.....what a shocker...
