tattoos and piercings...

Avacado Me and my friend are wanting to come to Dubai to teach English. I have tattoos on my arms, large earring holes and an eyebrow piercing. In Canada where we are from, this is quite normal and culturally accepted. Would it be unaccepted there? Do you think we would get turned down because of that? Thank you for your reply :)
dbxsoul Hi there, the topic of tattoos and body piercing has been covered at great length before on the forum. Here are some of the links, for the rest use the search function .
Avacado Well, those links dont help much... One was about tattoos and piercings where you cant see them anyways, and the other was about where to get them done. My question is different. I dont need anything done there and mine are in plain sight. (tattooed arms down to wrists, eyebrow piercing). There is no way to hide them. dbxsoul the tattoos you could possibly get away with; you'd have to loose the visible piercing they wouldn't go down to well here, particularly at a school. the only piercing that i have seen here which seem to be acceptable is the Hindu women who sometimes have nose piercing, but this is more acceptable as it is a cultural practice. the three links i sent were the tip of the iceberg  the issue of piercing and tattoos comes up every two or three months, and normally ends up in heated debate over the topic. Avacado thanks, I could easily take the eyebrow ring out, I would rather not but I will before applying then.
