Is it a turn on or a turn off when you see a tattoo on a womans body?
Need some comments/remarks in here... :D :D :D
Chocoholic
You know I think it really depends what it is and where. Women with large tattoos on say the arms look awful. But I think something small on the shoulder blade or base of the spine is quite nice.
I have a rose on the base of my spine, which means it's only on show when I wear hipster jeans and small tops or swim wear. I've never had anyone say they didn't like it.
Miss my belly bar though, had to remove it - booohoooo!
uaeaussie
Agree small tatts look fantastic on women same with their belly buttons peirced
kanelli
I am too practical about tatoos and piercings.
Scenario 1: I'm an old lady with loose and wrinkly skin - a faded and garbled looking tatoo hanging off my body. Pass!
Scenario 2: I've got a bellybutton piercing... eventually get pregnant. Of course I'd remove the piercing, but what will my bellybutton look like after a hole in it and major stretching? Pass!
Maybe I'll stick with henna and pierced ears.
Chocoholic
Just watch the black Henna, many people have reactions to a substance in it which causes the skin to literally burn!
You can have temporary tattoos these days, they fade after 2 years.
uaeaussie
So can you get the temp tattoos here :?:
uaeaussie
I still think belly button peircings look good seen old women with them and they still look ok.

Sorry, call me a Fuddy Duddy, but don't do tats or piercings...except ears of course.
A girl once told me that all women should go out with MEN who have piercings: because they have experienced pain...and know how to buy jewelry!!

i love tattoos on girls...especially on the face around the eyes like those wrestelers have...
on a serious note a small tattoo on the spine looks really good....not too big....than it looks kind of slutty....

I'll second that
uaeaussie
Cadmus agree with you the only large one on women that looks good is a symbol across the lower back above jean line at the end of the day it is up to the person you will find more people like tattoos and peircings than those who dont.I dont like the blue rinse old ladies in australia who dye their hair blue but they like it so why not :) :) :)
uaeaussie
It is also like how people say that over weightpeople should not have peircings etc so what if they do s____ that means they are kinda content with their body and to me there is nothing wrong with that
IMJ
actually i saw a girl who had a tatoo that covered most of her back and would continue to her arms, it looked really cool, everybody would say that, there was not one person who would have denied it
it all depends on who a tatoo is on.
Chocoholic
Plus the inks are so good these days that they really don't fade if they're looked after properly i.e. limited exposure to sun, moisturised etc etc.
I was tempted to get another tattoo, but the dilema of what and where was far too much, I'm a symestrical person and can't have something on one side of my body, sounds weird I know, but that's one of my quirks.
Have to say I love tongue piercings on a guy, I find it really se-xy. Although I once knew a guy who had two, with tongue ticklers on top, he could harldy speak at all and just lisped away, it was hilarious.
Some people do weird stuff, they guy who did my tattoo looked scarey as hell, but was really sweet, he'd tattooed a goatie beard on himself - yowsa!!!!
I asked him what the weirdest thing was he'd been asked to tatto on someone, he said a sailor (this really doesn't surprise me in the slightest) went in and asked him to tattoo a vagina from chin to naval on his chest, with the words 'I like this' underneath - can you imagine!!!!
I actually thought the 60 year old woman who wanted a picachoo (pokemon) on her breast a little sadder.

once i was watching this program on TV, it was showing ppl who get metal objects implanted under their skin, man, that was a horror. They showed guys with metal balls sticking out like a punk hairdo on their heads, girls with tongues cut in two, like snakes', one woman even said she had metal cone shaped implants in her chest, have no idea how it was possible, at the end they showed a guy who was getting metal balls under his skin on his head, he was bleeding like crazy.

Hi Chariza,
Can see why you started the thread now.
Don't worry about it. A serious guy should accept this as part of 'you'. He cannot change what has happened to you in the past as you cannot change what has happened to him. Your personality and everything about you should be enough to keep him turned on.
This is possibly the biggest problem with tattoos, people see them as a fashion statement, however are not truly aware of the permance of them. Metal peircings can be removed and leave small scars, a tattoo is for life.

why does it all have to be about relationship, why u guys think that a guy will not like u coz of some tatoo, so what if u have a tatoo on ur leg? is that a big deal?
do u have to do everything like ur spouse wants u to?

often, i have to go offshore and work with the divers..
i have seen some of the divers would tatoo every inch of their body ( except the face)..
apart from being a reflection of their personality they say it scares away the marine organisms..when they are underwater.

My point was, the guy may not like the tattoo as much as other things about you and at the end of the day it is not such an important factor. I doubt that it would stop a guy fancying you or asking you out for a date. After all, its his problem, not yours.
Be careful about the removal thing...you should look at the damage it leaves before setting out on that. The laser system is better than it used to be, but the scars are still bad.

that is what i meant when i was quoting Dubai Knight, that having a tatoo has nothing to do with a relationship, i just did not get where the relationship came from, she was only asking if guys like it or not.

Major turn off.
I don't dig tattoos on girls, especially those ones above the bum crack, quite possibly the worst. Even if I fell in love with a girl with one of these, I would be like "One of us have to go... me or the thing above your arse".

wonder if women handle tattoos better because they have a thicker layer skin than men .... ever noticed how mens veins are alot more pronounced than a womans.

Also Im from New Zealand so Im wondering what you all think of the way traditional Maori women get tattoos on their faces?
Chocoholic
It's got nothing to do with the thickness of the skin. Women are naturally more capable of tolerating pain. We are built to handle child birth after all! Put it this way liken it to a bowling ball coming out of a guys bum - not a pleasant thought, but a good enough likeness.
Hhhhmmmmm those tattoos you're talking of are done in a traditional way as well aren't they? Ouch, must take ages. I guess it's no different to many tribes around the world where both men and women have facial tattoos and odd piercings.

Some of them still get the tats in the traditional ways ..... similar to how the Tongan (from memory) men get their entire thighs tattooed using a hammer and chisel type arrangement .... ouch!

You wait till you get some sort of serious injury like a paper cut or a splinter in your finger.
Only the other day i stubbed my toe against the bottom of the bed. You probably cant imagine how excrutiating the pain was. A woman would have needed oxygen and hospital treatment with that type of serious life threatening injury.

You are dead right Arnie - I once had a splinter in my finger and had to be admitted to hospital. I discharged myself, but I can imagine if it was a woman they'd have been in for a few days observation, followed by a few weeks off work.

The post traumatic stress has already set in and I am undergoing counselling, but I am sure I shall make a full recovery within the next 6 months. Thankfully the cup was empty! If it had been full, there would have needed to be a full international emergency mobilisation and the Red Cross had planes waiting on the tarmac in Geneva. However there is now a full emergency procedure in place and it has been ratified by a small minded man in a grey tank top who apparently is the Health and Safety Exec (2nd. class) for the whole of Rutland. As an immediate aid to the prolific injury caused by papercuts I would like you all to lobby your local health and safety organisations to enforce safe paper handling technique i.e. All paper handling activities must be carried out whilst wearing protective gloves.
Surely this will increase productivity through minimising staff downtime and reduce costs associated to paper related law suits!

And when you get older (I am "older" and have a piercing), why do you think you will automatically get ugly?
Piercings can be removed, the hole closes after some time, depending on the diameter.
I think everybody is or should be free to decorate his body as he wants it. (if he is 18+!!)
Professional piercing in Dubai is available, I send you the details if you ask me private.

by the way is there a place to get a tattoo in Dubai?
Its illegal but I know of a good one Moey.
BDSM_Dubai
it is NOT illegal to do piercings in Dubai! Parts are sold officially and the piercing studio is officially registered and run very hygienically!

Of course you can buy the piercing parts and jewellery, but to date I've never heard of the municipality licensing any studios as body piercings and tattoos are haram, unislamic.
Certainly I wouldn't trust to get anything done here as there's no regulation and I'd be very suspect over how everything is being steralised and that includes the jewellery which should always come in individually sealed sterile packs. Do you know how many germs are on those things after people have handled them?

Sara, The pain is related to where you have it. Fleshy areas are less painful than boney ones.

I think the small japanese symbols look great on women along with small arm bands or tribals at the lower back area same with belly buttons being peirced
Sara1983
Oh okay, thnx

yep tribals & japanese are pretty coOL, I think small tattoos are way better than those big ones! the small ones would look more cute on a womens body!

True- close to bone is painful. Doing arm band hurts apparently underneath the arm. My opinion (but I am pretty "fleshy" having had kids) is it is less painful than waxing and waaaaaaaaay less painful than threading which is horrific!!

Old, married for around half my life, with gorgeous kids and husband. :D Plus I have one of those small tattoos. Choose wisely 'cos you have to live with it and according to a friend of mine laser removal is the most painful thing she ever experienced to the point that she didn't even finish the procedure. Something to consider.

When I was in highschool one of my friends got so wasted he pierced his own 'scope' and needless to say I never have had an urge to do that to myself.

I had my eyebrow pierced before Moey. I had positive attention from the girls in my highschool... then again that was from 16 yos... not too keen (legal) to be wanting that sort of attention now.
deepineyez
tatoo or without tatoo . It should look good on the body where it is done.
BUT
It bring unwanted attention
It gives wrong impress of the lady, It make to feel they are more easy to approach.
Having Taato or being blonde

i know this is REALLY late in coming, but better late than never: i'm gonna respond to what choco said about temporary tats that fade after two years. i have experience with this (my first tat was a temp) and can tell you that it's not all it's cracked up to be. here comes the science!
see, here's the thing: you have three layers of skin right? a permanent tat goes on the second layer, nicely cushioned by the other two. :3some:
a temporary tat will go either on the first or the third layer of skin. if it goes on the first layer, it's equivalent to scratching yourself and during the healing process it'll form a huge scab and once it peels the color won't be uniform. (that's what happened with me and i had it covered up mighty quick by a second tat!) :error:
if it goes on the third layer of skin, the fat cells in that layer will eventually absorb the ink and it'll literally fade into you. i don't know what the toxicity of tat ink is, but i doubt it's good for your body to have that stuff swimming around on the inside! also, as it fades it'll start to look blotchy. (double :error:)
point is: if you're going to pay for it and go through the pain get a proper tattoo done
and by the way, there is one lady who is licensed by the ministry of health in dubai to pierce and tattoo (aka mutilate as my dad says) so if you need the info, feel free to pm me. we've seen her work loads of times and she's really good; also everyone we've recommended her to has been well impressed with her levels of professionalism and hygiene - no complaints ever!

So long as its not too extreme then i like a tatoo on a woman ie a small one on the base of the spine or somewhere even more hidden! Also, love piercings - they are great fun.

If the girls is smart and good looking, they look good. But it shd not be too bitchy either.
