Hi - I am currently in New York and will likely be starting a job for the summer in Dubai. I will need a place to live but have no idea where to start looking. Does anyone have advice on how to find sublets or furnished apartment rentals. I will be looking for something for 8-10 weeks. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

have a look at this site. either see if there is anything that suits you, or post your requirements. depends on what you are going to do when you here, work or pleasure..... different accomodations depending on your location to work or site... fairly large discrepency in price range, but that is indicative of the standard/ quality of what you are getting...
