Man that is brutal and really is an insight of how bad a life these poor guys have.
You know though, Dubai should be like most places including our home, The driver should not be automatically convicted because really sometimes it isn't the drivers fault, investigations should be done before assigning blame.

i personally get the feel that cops here just want to make their job simple...they have made simple rules and they follow them without investigating...like some one hitting a car from behind will be at fault. i once had an accident...the other guy changed his lane without indicator...and i hit him from behind...though it was not my fault still i got fined...

Yeah Fayz, they should. Its not fair for someone to be slapped with a 200K fine is it? Actually I asked my insurance agent about this today and he said in your auto insurance, there is an option to have blood money included in the event of an accident. Provided that you werent speeding excessively or DUI, they pay the amount. So make sure you have that premium included. It's worth it here with this crazy shit happening.
