Starting a new website

vinodkumarkg Hi, I plan to start a new website offering free services to UAE residents. Initially this will be a completely non-commercial site and if it clicks, I will put advertisements to generate revenue. My question to business persons doing similar idea is, do I need to register any company in UAE to start a website? Or I can just start one without any legal company name? Thanks in advance, Vinu
bonk When you say "can", do you mean "allowed"? Any commercial operation in the UAE must be licensed. If you run a website with no income then it probably is not classed as a commercial operation. If you run a website that is hosted outside the UAE, with advertising revenue that comes from outside the UAE eg you use a US based ad company, then you could probably argue that it doesn't need a UAE license. But if you get revenue in the UAE, from UAE companies, then I'd expect you do need to register something. Of course, you "can" do all of the above without any registration of a company. orik
I Couldnt Understand This. You Can Start Any Websites When You Want And You Can Add There Ads You Want.
But If You Want To Be Any Company's Official Advertiser, Then You Will Make Contract With Them.
It Depends On Work And Service Of The Company Offers. You Should Specify.
