Hi to all!
I wil lbe moving to Dubai as of April next year and i wonder if you can help me with the following:
- Is there a 'olympic' size Swiming pool in Duabi. Or others where i can swimm large distances (iam not interested in any hotel or beach facilities that are meant for pleasure)
- any hint for a GYM /Fitness center that is not part of a Hotel, quite convoinient (preferably in Bur Dubai and not too expensive?

Wafi City Pharaon's club have good fasilities..
I don't know about their swiming pool though...

Thanks for info. Where is wafi-City located? how far is it to let's say Jumeira/UmSuqqeim?

you can check out the sports clubs
like Al wasal or nasr
they must be having swimming pools an stuff

Your best bet for everything you wanted would be the Aviation Club in AlGarhood area which is just few minutes away from the Dubai International Airport.
