After the marriage you need to tell your wife to endorse your name as the husband, theres no need to change passport if your using the old one and not the MRP. Just go to any passport department and tell them you need to endorse the husband name. Also you need her to update her NOC card( shanakti card) to here new name after the marriage, coz the passport dept will ask her NOC card to verify her civil status. 8)

i am shahid new one here in dubai. i am IT MANAGER in a firm, I am from pakistan, my marriage will be in coming october, i want to ask if it is necessary that it is must that there would be my name on husbands place in the passport of my wife, because she has already passport with name of her father,i.e
wife name________________________________
father name_______________________________
or i have to change her passport like this
wife name______________________________________
husband name___________________________________
if i can sponsor my wife with name of her father, or i have to change her passport.
