Has anyone else experienced this? The sites in question aren't blocked because I don't get the all-too-familiar message such as when trying to visit Flickr. Instead, all I get is a blank page. Checking the source returns nothing but an empty set of <html> tags. You can check it for yourself at:
There may be others but those are two where I get that error. There's nothing wrong with those sites since I can access them through Du and through but not through an Etisalat connection. Any help?

It's been happening with me lately too. I have no idea what exact types of sites it effects, but yeah I can't access gamefaqs (i'm religious to that site) or a lot of news sites i.e. Jalopnik, Gizmodo, things of that nature.
Just blank tags.......
Damn you Etisalat and your farking monopoly :cussing:
gamercowboy
Have you tried contacting Etisalat?

Works fine with DU.
Etisalat is know to have very weak DNS servers. By simply changing your DNS, u will experience faster browsing.
google "openDNS"

I just tested and I don't think it's DNS because it resolves the address just fine but I'm not sure. Isn't DNS only responsible for resolving hostname to IP address? Anyway, works fine now but still doesn't. I get a 503 error now though instead of a blank page.
Gizmodo works. Jalopnik works.

Btw, no thanks to your letting me find out about Jalopnik, I have wasted half my day looking through failcar pics :P
Hulahula
Hahaha I LOVE Jalopnik, best damn car site out there!

I thot so too...but upon performing further tests...its seems when u change the DNS....streaming or flow of data coming is much faster and accurate!? have no clue why.....

Well, everything works just fine now. I didn't change anything at all.
Edit:
I wonder if this had anything to do with it: &from=rss
