Hi all
Looking for information from Dubai expats who have lived, or know people who have lived in Singapore.
Having just spent a week there, I can seriously see myself (and Mrs Doc) relocating there once we decide to leave Dubai.
Anyone got any tips, advice or opinions on the place?

I love Singapore, it's amazingly clean, people are friendly, weather is great. Only down side is that it's quite expensive.

grt place to live.. good std of living.. grt food from SE ASIA..
I enjoyed it a lot.. might go back there in a year once things start looking up there..
it gets boring at times as its pretty small and there is only as much u can do.. or just cross the border n enter malaysia..

As a British citizen, is it fairly straightforward to get a working visa if I've sourced employment?

yeh.. if u have a job, getting an employment visa is not too difficult..
doesn't matter if u r a brit or not..

If you have a work possibility, I'd say go for it! We are loving Singapore compared to Dubai.
