lol its because of the DAMN WASTA that so many ppl dont know the basic laws of driving in UAE. thats because most of them get it by wasta and skip all the tests and get a license.
sorry but i would suggest you keep on trying keep on trying till you succeed. i know its hard but practise makes perfect. keep cool and dont get frustrated. gtmash

| desertdudeshj I can sympathize with the dude, Most "western" expats usually just exchange one. It is kinda flustrating to go to the process from A to Z. It took my wife over 6 months to get it. After failing 4 or 5 tests she just threatned to move her file from Bel Hasa to galadari, and they said ok wait we will look into it and give your a senior instructor and examiner next time and guess what she got it the next time around. This is in dubai though. I got, more like earned one from Sharjah police as I went through the whole process from A to Z. I think I fluked 6 times before I made. Truth of the matter is it all depends on the examiners mood that day. During my tests I have been asked to pull over at a cafeteria for tea ! and even offered if I wanted one !!. My first test the paper said I need 3 more hours of training next one said I needed 5. Did I get worse over time instead of getting better. All the errors and more hours required ticked marked kept on changing randomly throughout the ordeal. Duke go talk to the "mudeer" and try to get it sorted out. DUKE
