Hi all!
I called a recruitment agency and spoke with one of the recruiters about a job and she told me to send my CV, then she said that she woul give me a call. That was on thursday, so I am wondeing how long should I wait untill I know that they are not interested and do they usually send an e-mail or something tell me that they are not interested?

I would say if they don't call you back by the coming Sunday then give them a call or email them to follow-up. Some wait 2 weeks but depends on how patient you are.

I would suggest you call them to schedule an interview with the recruitment consultant. If they feel you are a good fit, then they will forward your resume to the company. You should be very confident in the interview and make an excellent impression as this will dictate whether they will work hard in finding the right company for you.

She told me when I called her that I should send my CV and then she will call me back, so I am not shore if it's appropriate to call her again?

call her after sometime to know your status whether they had applied or not..
and then apply to other sources too...anything might click for you....

Lol sorry for that, I mean will the recruitment agency send my CV to the company before recruiter will arrange an interview?

they do send it.., a recruiting agency MAY ask you to come for an interview..

not being rude...
frankly speaking these job consultancies are hardly of any use...
i had very good experiences with them...
just upload your CV online which is the best thing u can do..and u will get reply back if the job profile suits you...

it would work in rare scenarios, do not rely too heavily on recruitment agencies when YOU have called them for a job. the chances are a lot higher when they call you and ask if of your interest in a particular position.
everything depends on how you fit with the JD :)
