Well the news reported that the Saudi King stepped in and stopped the flogging. They say he has been nick named "the King of hearts". I'm sure there was some people happy about it.

The Saudi royal family are actually very prograssive. They're constantly at loggerheads with the religious police who normally enforce these things.
