Oh dear, now it is really gonna kick off. I really do hope that it will calm down, however, I feel it is just gonna get worse and a lot of innocent people are going to die!
Did Saddam get what he deserved?

Goodbye Saddam....I'm not going to miss you
freza
Oh he got what he deserved (under the least ideal circumstances of course).
When are Bush & Blair going to get what they deserve :?:
PARANOID
it's silly how people (most of them not the ones who were effected by him) are acting all happy and blood thirsty about it. there are alot of presidents/goverments who commited/are commiting crimes against humanity yet noone calls for their hanging. his execution will most likely cause more death. how wonderful.
there was this story about the prince who didn't kill the dictator, he said something along the lines that one more person killed will repeat the cycle of killings and wars. it's so true.
who was that btw?

Death penalty....
This is an Iraqi court dispensing Iraqi justice

Actually what he deserves is to be stripped naked and left in the middle of the desert next to a scorpion den.

I'm sure that this is the exact same punishment that you wish for Bush and Blair too, right? You righteous and
unbiased one.

Bring back Saddam ....he will end the mess in Iraq righ away... :) Why remove him in the first place :?

I agree with the EU. The death penalty is inappropriate in all circumstances. He should be imprisoned for the rest of this life.
In all honesty, he should have been sent to the ICC. If there was enough evidence about this guys WMD's and his history of tyranny that bad to prompt an invasion, then surely the ICC will have sufficient evidence to charge him and imprison him. Or will they?;-)
Oh look... its election time! "We got Saddam though!"

hey rvp... i totally disagree with u on one point... i believe in the death penalty.... why should someone who killed purposefully be allowed to live? i think this is a good topic for discussion... i am going to start a new thread....

that trial was a joke...a circus
enough said! (from my point of view)

Interesting enough it comes a few days before the US mid-term elections. I am sure that has nothing to do with it.

Are you talking about George W bush or Saddam?
Only one of them in hanging even though the other has killed more in a shorter time frame. Hence i am against death penalty, as political forces drive the outcomes and there is not enough justice out there for any fair trial.
Please open a new thread if you wish i will be happy to contribute
