all i know is its somewhere near Mirdiff.

Keep going along Airport Road, over the overpass over Emirates Road towards Mushrif Park, and you will spot it on your left. Of course, Rex was open when I last noticed it back in the late 90s, so maybe it's go now. It is right next to Arab Unity School.
