has anyone got a refund from a visa?. Is it easy??. I am asking because if you sponsor some friends or relatives on a visit visa, you are supposed to give a 2000 refundable deposit. I dont want to pay so much money and not getting back...

The deposit is refundable when you show proof of exit, its normally not a problem.
A word of caution though, make sure you know who you are sponsoring, because you will be held responsible if anything goes wrong.
