Anyone got any feedback on these guys???
I've got my resume with a number of companies and applied for a few jobs. However, I can't really recall applying for a job through these guys. On top of that, they want about $50USD as an "assurance" from myself that I am committed to the recruitment process and to "maintain" their website. All sounds a bit bogus to me. Or is this the norm???

I've seen several threads on Dubai Forums talking about . Mostly critical. There's press reports and other blogs/forums saying much the same.
You don't strike me as a newbie at dubaiforums so I'm surprised you're asking. Or maybe you're promoting them? You're using the same tricks as jobsindubai have done on other forums.
If it's just a coincidence then my apologies.

Ummmm...... If anyone thinks I was promoting these people, I'd suggest you go and read the first post again. If after doing so, and you think I've still got an agenda to push, well I guess you're just a moron.
But thanks for the feedback from you both on these guys. Much appreciated. Have spent a bit more time on our old friend google and are far from impressed with what we have seen thus far. I guess the old addage is true. If it looks like scam, smells like a scam, tastes like a scam, it probably is a scam.
FTR, I'm in engineering/projects/facilities, my wife is in marketing/sales.

that was the first agency i found for dubai job, but when i read i have to pay, was like WTF :?

You are still employing the same promotional tricks I've seen from in the past. The question is whether it's deliberate or accidental. Only you know that.

Some clarification of jobsindubai system of marketing.
1. representative will post their link and a question in a forum about "Jobs in Dubai", asking if they are a legit company.
2. Other forum members respond saying they're a scam etc.
3. representative then resorts to personal attacks on previous posters.
