Recent books you have read

^ian^ I just finished reading "The Dilbert Principle" by Scott Adams, a very good book and more of a self-help guide for anyone that has ever worked in a dysfunctional organisation. (Most of us!) It's a relaxing read and explains a lot about the world of complex organisations and why some people make the decisions they do. (Hint: It is because they're idiots).
Pumpkin Escobar I have been reading alot of books lately  I recently finished the "Communist Manifesto" by Karl Marx Also a book called "Breaking the chains of psychological slavery" by Dr. Na'im Akbar Also a book called "Slapboxing with Jesus" by Victor De Lavelle. So what are people in Dubai(Canada  ) reading? Liban I am reading the TV Guide  Actually reading up on books related to MS-Project and Accounting for Excel... My two areas of specialty... I wish I could read more, but I work long hours, and then my free time is divided between the gym and my significant other so I have little time for pleasure reading... I used to love reading Sci-Fi books (like Star Trek) and also political strategy thrillers.... BobbieMasoner a vast array of 'erotica' cadmus just finished the vinci code...now reading Tao of Physics preciousmissunderstood 'the little button elves' - enid blyton  *giggles* Pumpkin Escobar
Tao of Physics, that sounds interesting.
I am now reading a book about Elderidge Clever, a pivotal figure in the black power movement in the 60's cadmus Yep, its a nice book. Finding the commonalities between eastern religions and modern physics..... Pumpkin Escobar I saw a new book by the Dhali Lama that is supposed to be about eastern religions and science and what-have-you. I think I might pick that up. I plan on reading some books about Tim Leary, who was a Dr. in the 60's that went around selling "mind expansion" through LSD. cadmus i guess its dalai lama not dhali lama
