Ranathambore tiger reserve Rajasthan India

Jeevan Hi Peeps, Something for the people who love wild life Ranathambore tiger reserve is one of the most amazing places to visit in rajasthan. Amidst the desert a huge reserve with some amazing fauna, the best times for visit would be november to march ( the weathers a lot cooler). There is a old fort right at the entrance of the reserve which is kinda spooky but would entice people loving archeology. The best way to reach is going to Jaipur the pink city and organize a tour from there. http://projecttiger.nic.in/ranthambhore.htm ( the link is kinda old but gives a general idea) ( a few photographs but none of the tiger :) ). I was lucky enough to see a couple of tigers when we went on a safari. Going out in a open jeep and being upclose with the wildlife is an experience in itself. when you actually see the tiger so close to you its a feeling of mixed emotions, excitement, fear, respect which is so difficult to put down in words :). cheers, J
xlchick Kanha is also worth a visit. Although they expect you to stay about four days if you bribe the warden he will find the tigers in about ten minutes. The roads are nothing to write home about and the shopping is non-existent. But they make a nice G&T in the evening. MaaaD I think Rajasthan is the place where they hold huge outdoor raves. I will find the link and post it.
