I was going somewhere and parked my car at a busy lot (took a while to find a spot). As I was walking out of the lot I noticed a nice black shinny porsche boxter in a Handicapped spot!... I doubt a handicapped person would be driving such car (getting into the thing would be hard enough, shifting, etc....)!
A "dubai" thing I suppose.

Well that happens alot in Dubai, ever notice how hardly any car will stop at zebra crossings to give way?

And expensive cars always take two parking spots.

I hate those bastards! When I was in college (uni for you wankers) I used to drive a POS (piece of sh!t for same wankers) and would go out of my way to park within 2 inches of their door.
I still do it in Dubai (I rent month-to-month so dont give a crap).
On the other hand if you properly park I will respect the space (regardless of what you are driving). Just dont be a fu<king as$hole!

I hear you, brotha. I bought my own car in college here, so it was the oldest car on campus. At least my uni occassionally fined those losers for wrong parking. Occassionally.

also i see that parking on the pavements is all the rage at Mall of the Emirates. especially if you are driving a Hummer.

I'm sorry but you expect someone to walk an extra 10 metres to the mall entrance?

i believe that people who do park in a handicapped parking space and dont have any sort of disability, should be given a chance to say their last prayer on their knees and then a public execution (i suggest a bullet to the head)
it sounds crazy but it will work :D
stuff like this just gets to me

Er... a bit extreme don't you think.
What about just a severe ass kicking?
Bleakus
yeah sorry for the spelling mistakes, emotionally driven this morning..will feel better later on ;)
well ian asskicking never really stopped people from doing the wrong thing. Knowing that i will get a slap in the face, it will just encourage me to be careful not to get caught. If i know that im gonna die if i disrespect people who are less fortuante than me coz i was too lazy to find a park for my car, breaking that law will make me think twice
Ok the following paragraph above might have been a little extreme but thinking about it know it is. This is just to verify my previous point
AssKicking but to a point that him/her will remember not to do it again
Peace ;)

Nah, too exteme.
I say "handycap" him/her for a bit so they can use the spot. Easy, baseball/cricket bat on each knee cap! Free use of space (and a lesson)

^^the only thing that would stop me from doing that is that sound of broken bone bro....

People who use handicap parking areas are too many,,, take away their car for a month and they would learn their lesson …. Am sure they will cuz usually fancy expensive cars park there making a statement “I am too rich, and I don’t care about the fine”.
As for the other kind of jerks, then one that takes 2 slots….. I once had to look for a parking for more than 45 mints, when I finally parked, I noticed a guy taking 2 slots… at was 2:30 am, and there was no one around, so I held one key in each hand and I jumped on his car as if it was a couch and I was happy cat! If you know what I mean! :)
hamadl
dont you realize in some places that there are ALOT of handicapped parking spaces, the RTA knows that people would park there and would fine them. If you are rich and can pay the fine, good for you, more money for RTA, and there is still more space just in case a handicapped person drives there (smart move from RTA = people happy, RTA happy)
Also, if you take two spaces, someone might scratch the car (seen it happening more than once at malls), which is great, the person would learn a lesson, if he thinks he has a great car, wont look that nice when it is scrached would it?
Im not saying its right, im just saying that it happens..

Once I noticed this lady pull into a McDonalds in a brand new shiny BMW, and parked in the handicap spot. As she hopped out I said, "wow! miracles of modern science."
She said "oh sorry, and pulled out a handicap tag and stuck in on the windscreen."
She was not very handicapped... in the slightest... at all.

Sure you did. Did the 8-year-old roll away to his mommy with his baby-wheelchair then?

The first person could be thought to drive.
The second person could not be thought!

Well maybe its the passenger in the car thats handicapped and not the driver. I know when I go out with my sister or sometimes my mum I have to park in the handicapped spots.
