How long did it take for you to find a good hair stylist?
I'm still planning on moving to Dubai in 2007 (i'll be making my first trip in 06) and this horrible thought occured to me: There wouldn't be anyone to do my hair!!!!! :crybaby:
This is a serious problem. Please reply.

rofl...thats funny that your thinking about that :D
Well I am half african american, and I have NEVER found a good hairstylist...or anyone who understands my hair here in the US. So consider yourself lucky! no, jk...but I would think the people of dubai need relaxers, and flat irons too. so many different cultures...Or maybe you can just go natural in that HEAT! How do you do your hair anyway? btw, I am moving there in 2007 too! :D

Well my hair is natural now.
For the past 2 years I've worn my hair bald. But I don't want to do that anymore.
I'm trying a couple of curly styles now.

These styles don't last so I have to get my hair done every week.
I guess my '07 I would have grown some more hair.
I think someone said that there are some African laborers in Dubai. Maybe I can find a braider. But I don't want to wear braids all the time.

thats a pretty basic style...I would think there are braiders out there. How long will you be out there? What about a really nice weave? You can have it any style then. It would be a good investment.
MaaaD
there are good braiders here they are mostly african ladies who do a great job. my friend gets her hair braided all the time. if you want more specific info let meknow
