My ps2 stopped detecting the games. I have opened the box and cleaned the laser head. still no luck!
Do you know where I can get this fixed?

Given the current prices of PS2s you'd be much better off just buying a new one. Essentially what happens is the laser wears out and you need to replace the whole unit.
How old is it?

Well this happened to my V2 PS2 in the US and I just bought a new laser head and installed it myself (very easy to do...And cost me about $20 off eBay)
But before I left the US I just bought a slim ps2 as the V2 was just, well, old. Cost me $150 with the DMS4 mod chip. Didn't have a single problem with it so far...
