Prickly Sensation

BabyDoll Anyone gets the prickly feeling (on the cheek) from outdoor exposure? I guess it's from the sun here  Like needle prickly feeling. If yes, what should I do?
MAC
1. stay in house

wonder if Concord have more intellectual answers  Concord
Nah, it could be Bell's Paulsy but then Dr. D would know better.
Actually it is a side effect of detox. BabyDoll
You mean the prickly feeling is a side effect of detox? Wheres the logic? Or should I post this question in the "ask a question" post?? Jeevan do u get a rash following the sensation? its usual to get that feeling if you are not used to extreme temperature changes. If you do get a rash its excessive histamine secretions which follow exposure to sun. try applying a good sunblock, and before sleeping at night put on thinly cut slices of cucumber. Aloe vera can help as well. cheers, J St.Lucifer ITs just the hot n humid weather outside..humidity.. thats it. BabyDoll
Great suggestion, although I did apply the sun block before I went out. And its from the skin specialist!!
I forgot about cucumber. I used to goto sleep with them on my face. BabyDoll by the way, is it true that the maximum coverage for a sun block is SPF 30. Anything beyond that actually doesnt give further protection. bonk
I don't know if it's true but I've often heard the same thing.

sunblocks do not offer 100% protection, it just minimises the damage. the best way is to put it on and avoid sun. drink loads of water, and eat fruits high on water content(watermelon), and cucumber and aloe vera help:) i guess nothing would go wrong after that. BabyDoll
Believe it or not. I once used SPF 90 for diving under extreme weather condition. I wasnt even burnt !! So I guess the higher the SPF does help? !! St.Lucifer Typoical problems of fair skinned folks.. :D Its either - Dont go out n get roasted in the hot sun or go n enjoy if u feel good abt it :D for me..:P oh n I dont remember getting a sun burn .. :) thanks for that extra melanin. MAC when i go swim i use 100 proof sun block. product name = roof. BabyDoll
can i get them here? bonk
Well, yes. But probably not in a supermarket :).
