Hi Parents
i am putting a package together for school photos but because i have only ever done individual family and child shoots ar i am stuck on the cost...
Could anyone give me an idea of what you pay per individual photo and price per Group Photo..
I will be taking new age images, not the bog standard ones we all had at school...
Black and White and Colour Head shots and half body shots... all in character..
My aim is to capture your child not an uncomfortable pupil.

I always thought those awkward pupil photos, were what MADE school photos.
Isn't that the point? In school uniform and what not? With their classmates?
Otherwise what difference is there between the school photo and any other photo.

so what I understand from your post that you are a photographer and asking how much it would costs for a group photo session???
in general, photographers charge per hour... and it varies between 300 to 500 per hour depending on event and photographer.

no i am looking for parents input on really what they would feel comfortable with paying.... normally i would charge a school from 200 per image....

They will stil be in their uniforms to erasing the boring pose and awful backdrops

If you ask my parents they will probably answer you AED10 per photo and if you can send them the photograph by email for free it will be great!!!?!?! :P
I don't believe parents will answer your question honestly!!!! just study the market and put in your margins...

photographing kids is one of the most annoying tasks ever... last week during my little niece birthday, there was over 10 kids in one room... and trying to capture them in one photograph was a nightmare... finally I gave up :p
