MaaaD Another boring city ? or what ? fayz Sadly yes, oh and smaller cities in Oregon, I felt skinny :shock: Portland wasn't as bad but man rural Oregan was brutal people were wider then they were taller. . Concord Portland has the highest suicide rate of any city in the USA :shock: So boredom may have a lot to do with it. But what a way to relieve boredom :shock: MaaaD

it seems like the closest thing to excitment in Portland is nearby Seattle :lol: Concord Seattle is nice.
Go to Jimmy Hendrix's museum [not his but about him :wink:]. MaaaD So yeah Portland IS boring. However the scenery is awesome. The city has a backdrop of this awesome Mt. Hood:

Which is actually an active volcano!!
Also things to check out if you are in Portland:
1- Downtown river... nice walk with several coffee shops
2- Powel City of Books - oldest bookstore in US
3- BEST doughnut i have ever had !!! no exaggeration.
4- Burnside street - tons of nice coffee shops/ restaurents/ clubs.
5- Japanese Garden
6- I had dinner at had excellent seafood and at good value!
7- Pearl District
8- Pioneer Square
That will keep anyone in Portland busy for a few days.
BTW fun fact about Oregon. It doesn't have sales tax!!
