plz help...

hunger Hi Aim basically a BBA graduate and a diploma holder in sales and having experience of 3+ in FMCG and in telecom, worked in leading companies back home. Here I joined a company for there frozen foods division as sales executive, when I was here in visiting visa for salary of 2500 dhs which is very low. I joined these because my visiting visa was going to expire. They made me to work under visiting visa for three months and last weak all of sudden they told me to exit immediately because of after amnesty checking. And told me that they will be sending me employment visa in three weeks. Now don’t want to work for them because salary is very low and I dint like the company. Now aim planning to come on visit visa again. Now if I come how should I try job with min of 4k salary in entry level? If I come will I need to have again an exit for getting my employment visa? Plz guide me as I don’t have any friends or relatives in uae to help me :?

Frankly, it sound to me like they are not processing your employment visa at all and you will not get it. Otherwise they would have done so while you were working under your visit visa. I don't know what the "amnesty check" has to do with it - sounds like an excuse.
Your concern should be whether you have overstayed your visa since you wrote that you starting working for them because your visit visa was about to expire. Did the employer actually renew your visa or where you simply working without extending the visa? If you overstayed your visa you will be sugject to financial penalties and/or a ban from reentering the country (I don't know the rules but others here might). If that is the case - over stay - then returning would be a probem regardless of job or salary.
The salary seems low (although I don't know what a BBA diploma is nor what FMCG is) and since you worked here you know best that the salary is low to live in Dubai. I hope you just had bad luck and not that someone took advantage of you (unfurtunately there are many cases of people taking advantage of others - principally based on race).
My advice is for you to read as many posts in this Dubai Expat Help forum and pay particular attention to the posts by Dbxsoul who is very knowledgeable, "Bonks" posts are also knowledeable. I am sure that others will help you as well. It is just that it is Saturday so they will start responding on Sunday when they are at work and so will have free time.
Good luck and I hope you get a job with a decent salary. Others here might help you on that as well (although salaries are relative to many factors and vary widely). sage & onion
It certainly looks like the Company you were working for had no intention of giving you a permanent job. The only problem is, if the Company does indeed send you an employment visa, it will block your Passport number in the system as you can only have one visa at a time, and then you would not be able to apply for a further visit visa. If you do not want to work for this Company, simply write to them and inform them that you are not interested, this way they will not apply for a visa for you.
With regard to you next question, you have to be aware that the Government of Dubai has stated that they are going to get stricter with regard to people working on a Visit Visa, which is illegal, however many people are doing this. It has also been said that when you are here with a visit visa and you get yourself a job, you will have to return to your home Country and not just simply do a visa run to Kish or Qatar, how and if this is currently in effect I do not know. dbxsoul
Please clarify the following:
1). If your visa was about to expire before you started with this company did you have it extended? If so an extension of 3 months seems pretty long to me, and it seems possible that you have been working on an expired visa?
2). Do you have a copy of your visa? When does/ did it expire?
If it has expired when you leave the country you will be responsible for the accumulated fine on the over-due visa. You cannot argue that you were working and your previous employer should be responsible for the fees as you have been working illegally. People who default on their visa are regularly now subjected to retina scans at the airport!!!
What Sage says is also correct, you also need to find out if the employer has started processing a visa for you - as you may not hold two simultaneous visa applications (at the department of immigration); if they have started processing it this would effectively prevent you from re-entering the country on a visit visa (unless you used another or re-issued passport from your home country). hunger First let me thank you all for giving me inputs and suggestions. And also want to say sorry for confusing… Now let me clarify on my visa part. I have come on visit visa sponsored by one of my distant relative from his company, I have landed in Dubai on April 13th and got the job on June first week(not the one I expected), and also my two months visa validity was also going to get over… so my new company extended for one more month paying 500dhs from there pocket, so I stayed for three months on my cousin’s company visit visa, and that visa got expired on July 11th and again my new company have given there own visit visa and said it will take one more month to get Employment visa, till then you can be in our visit visa and work. I was there on there visit visa from july 13th to September 17th and I was working for them. On September 17th they said to me that you will have to leave the country immediately because there will be checking from the labor dep, and said that they will be sending me my employment visa on first weak or second weak of October. Now aim in my home country. Now my concern is... (SALARY) first I don’t want to work for the same company for that salary. If aim planning to come in visit visa again before they start processing for my employment visa, what should I do to get job in good company for at least for 4 to4.5 k salary without UAE D/L? Or if I plan to stick on with the same company for a period of one year till I get license (By fortunately) after one year will I get a one year or six months ban? Plz help…. Thank you ^ian^ I'd be more concerned about leaving the country... what is the expiry date on the Visa stamp in your passport? dbxsoul
the first thing is to notify your previous employer, tell him you don't want to work for them anymore.
secondly find out if they have started processing your visa application. if they haven't then you don't have anything to worry about. if they have you will have to wait out the ban or expiry of the application in the immigration system - i've no idea how long it is before an application goes "stale" if it is not used or completed. sounds like this person is already out of the UAE. Concord
I would suggest you if you juste tell them you are not coming back to work. See what they say. If they say: "well, we processed your visa and if you don't come back there will be a ban, etc." then you will have the problem stated by Dxbsould above. However, if you are the one to ask them first whether they processed the visa they will likely tell you "yes we did, etc..." only to make sure you come back and/or pay them some money.
As I said at the very begining, in my first post, it is very likely that they never even started the process of applying for your employement visa. And you might then be free to find another job at a better paying rate, etc.
All the best. ^ian^
Yeah I missed that.
