Divorce rates have been partly discussed in romance forum. Question raised:
Why divorce rates are higher here in United Arab Emirates where in fact man can have four wives?

...also, expectations have gone up...while at the same time, the commitment and willingness to live up to expectations has gone down... :(

Well then this is so sad. Both of you have the same view.
Dubai, or UAE is continously improving and developing as a stronghold commercial/economical post of this region. Yet not all aspect of life is on the better side of the story.
It is always like this, anywhere. One aspect will improve, another form of life will be degrading. For instance technology advances but nature is suffering. Sad. :(
