OK, here is the latest on the ridiculous parking situation in the city...
This morning I parked outside the Lime Tree Cafe on the beach road and then had to walk for about 1/4km to find a payment machine...which then refused to take any of the coins in my pocket. By the time I had found a passerby and swapped a 1dh coin for one that worked, and walked back to the car...I had been given a damn ticket!
This is getting stupid!
Municipality are removing parking spaces as they constitute valuable real estate, all the sand lots are now few and far between as more buildings are put up, all the offices and appartments only give you 1 space...and there are more and more cars on the road. Where are we supposed to park?
Dammit...time to get the motorbike out!

I hope your not going to pay that ticket...
just take the ticket and your parking pass and tell them what happened...
you shouldnt have to end up paying the ticket.
the same thing happened to my mum.

Matey, the same thing happened to me when I met you that morning and I got the ticket cancelled.
