PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Onshore Plant Manager is responsible for
1. Adherence to Operating Principals at all times to promote flawless execution of all activities including managing the safety and welfare of the personnel and all equipment.
2. Managing respective people and organization
3. Managing EHS function in the respective department
4. Managing relevant administration, document control and report
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. Adherence to Operating Principals at all times to promote flawless execution of all activities including managing the safety and welfare of the personnel and all equipment.
For ensuring that staff follow Operating Principals without compromise
Risk mitigation plans are developed and shared to consider and respond to all threats to safety, the environment, and facilities at or near the facilities
Works according to Companys established policies and specialized professional standards
2. Managing respective people and organization
Demonstrate leadership skills to operations team and coach as required.
Succession planning and personnel development
Developing direct-report personnel through documented performance agreements which identifies succession plans and training needs where appropriate
Routine communications as required
Ensure optimum local community relations by interfacing with community elders / leaders as required.
Member of the Operating Leadership Team
3. Managing EHS function in the respective department
Provide visible leadership of appropriate EHS behaviours at all times
Demonstrate appropriate safety behaviours and commitment to environmental policies
Emergency response procedures including communication of ER issues to stakeholders
4. Managing relevant administration, document control and report
Developing annual operating budgets
Managing and minimizing operating expenses and non-development capital
Managing relevant reporting and administration work based on the needs of the respective organization (including data recording, correspondence, etc. based on the function of this position).
Ensuring the confidentiality of the companys documentation.
Education and Experience:
Degree in Technical Chemical Eng., Mechanical Eng.,
20 years in Oil and Gas experience in multitask level from Petroleum Engineering, Drilling, Oil and Gas processing, Finance and Procurement, Project and EHS
Have experience with emergency response, risk mitigation, and team supervision as well as be able to demonstrate appropriate leadership and safety behaviours
Basic Skill:
Fluent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
Demonstration of strong communication skills
Extensive knowledge and experience of gas plant operations including process knowledge and maintenance knowledge
High level of safety and environmental knowledge applicable to a rural environment and an awareness of any impact a hydro carbon production and process plant can have on the local eco systems
