Don't worry, I have read a lot about Dubai and seen plenty on the TV, esp the golf! It's just where to look for flats/houses, cars, etc etc. whats the going rate for a 2 bed flat and/or renting a flat to share. Those are the things I need to know.
I know about hot conditions and nice winters, although i bet your summers are hotter than they are here.
