Need your expertise on a labour situation...

aquarian tiger Please help me find answers. My health is in danger if I continue with this empoyer.... The company I joined last december 2007 was the one who paid for my airfare. I signed an offer back in my country (not in their letterhead by the way) for 2 years; signed again another one for 3 years (as required by our government)-- not a full contract though. And then I signed again another one here, unlimited period. In the 80+ days that I'm here, I still don't have my employment Visa or residence Visa. Am I working illegally in this case? The PRO said that it is being processed--but I don't have any sort of receipt from the Labour department! My employment ENTRY visa "position" is Switchboard operator, but my actual designation is PA to the CEO (I have a business card to prove that)...is that a case against my employer already? I don't have a job description even up to this point.... I'm still on probation (less than 3 months) but I would like to terminate my contract. Can I terminate the contract? What should I be paying for aside from my plane ticket back home? A ban of 6 months or a year is alright for me-- would that be the worst case I get from the company/labour deparment? Do you know of inclusion and exclusion in the labour law in my case? I appreciate you helping me as I feel that I am in a healthrisk situation right now.
bonk
On probation means the employer can terminate you with no notice and without the usual benefits due to you. I know people have left their employer while on probation without negative consequences but that may be a lottery whether or not you can get away with that.
Find a lawyer, or phone the labour department, or look at the for similar questions.
