Need Help in Translation

Anonymous Can anyone please translate the two passages in this paper found here: www (dot) cie (dot) org (dot) uk/docs/dynamic/22932.pdf In the first one, I can make out that it is about palm trees and their uses (dates and roofs of houses) but the grammar is disturbing me. In the second passage, I can make out that the listener is listening to a 'home-made' recipe and then at once the discussion jumps to the man who can't differentiate between stomach and heart. But again the grammar is puzzling me and I can't make out the link between the two situations. However, I know the meanings of all words. I do not want word to word translation but just a simple translation would do. Keeping in mind that Arabic is a foreign language for me.
Anonymous Please, its easy for any Arab to do this little task for me. I am yearning for the translations. Even I understand the rest of the meanings (virtually all of them) but the grammar is puzzling me. Save me from the pangs of opening the dictionary a hundred times in vain or typing the entire into Google Translate (no copy paste, its a graphic). bushra21 midterms shall be over by next week -- if you can wait until then, ill post up the translation Anonymous Of course, I am actually preparing for my finals LOL! Which exams are you giving BTW? Anonymous Hi, I thought I might need to remind you. It ain't any emergency. Would be good if you post up the translation in near future. awb17x Does it say "In God I Trust"? img48 (DOT) imageshack (DOT) us/img48/4928/img00016v(DOT)jpg Anonymous
The words are all messed up. The letters are not joined and I can't make out where a new word starts. Even though Arabic is not my native, NO. I can't see any word like rab or Allah or any Quranic name for God. Neither can I see ya'manu (to trust) or any other familiar equivalent. WHat is the purpose of posting it here BTW? Moreover, there is no a'naa (I, first person). Anonymous HEY Its total hell, the guys written it the wrong way round. Its actually wa ana wasiq billah > I am confident in God. HAHA sabalkhair Hahaha
