Mr & MIss Dubai Forums Nominations 2006


sniper420 all nominees b present........damn my dreams have collapsed even b4 it began!!! comeon why dont we keep itz online?
arniegang ok peeps i guess its that time of year So i am going to propose we start suggestions for the process, to select Mr and Miss Dubai Forums 2006 I have a few things in mind to start the ball rolling. I feel its for everyone to contribute as to how we proceed etc, so please take this as your "starter for 10" 1/ I have visions of the Nomination Ceremony taking place in Dubai in December ( my bithday visit :wink: ) 2/ I would suggest nominations of 3 for each of the 2 categories. 3/ The nominee's must be available to attend the ceremony. 4/ It be put up as a poll for all nominations and all the moderators to select the winner from the top 3 nominations. 5/ This is really a good excuse for a damm good piss up and to see if we can exceed the huge attendance of the famous DFM PSP Meet. 6/ I would propose that all nominations be sent to Moi by pm, for a period of say 1 month as Adjudicator, then i will post the poll up with ALL the nominee's for voting by all forumer's. 7/ That the poll be listed for a period of 3 weeks to allow time for everyone to vote. 8/ That Cons and DK arrange - our usual meeting place (wink wink) 9/ That DK be Master of Ceremonies for the evening with all the DF Babes dressed as Bunnygirls to assist him. ( take note: Princess Banana, this for you is not negotiable :P ) 10/ That all the Mods arrive in a stretch Hummer onto a pre arranged Red Carpet in advance of the Nominees, before the press arrive. 11/ That the Moderators decision in the selection process is final. haha y will u keep the title for urzelf? :lol: arniegang Geez this is soooooooo frustrating. I am really trying to play devils advocate here and remain impartial. I thought i had covered all the "exclusions". If anyone thinks i am tempted to "rig" the nominations i could seriously take offense to that, those that know me here, know i am as straight as a die. Anyways, i originally opened this topic up for general discussion and to seek input from EVERYONE. My original suggestion for keeping the nominations confidential for 4 WEEKS was to allow everyone time to consider whom they would like to nominate without affecting everyone else's opinion or to sway opinion, and repititious posts saying the same names time and time again. Then and only then would i post up the "nominee's" on a poll basis for EVERYONE to vote on open forum. This would be the time to post up your comments and not NOT NOW as already has happened TWICE. This would run for 3 WEEKS. I also stated that if any Mod was nominated and already 6 are, then those mods would not be part of the final selection process. In the event that all the Mods are nominated then Andy would select the winner. If the majority thinks that no mods should eligable then i am happy to go with that. Now which bit of this does anyone NOT understand or doesn't think is fair? XRW-147
