Moody Men!

Guilo2 Which 10% is that, Ian ? :D
The temperamental 10% with a broken remote control or the other 10% that ran out of beer? :D
Or both, thus raising twice the ruckus!
^ian^
LOL. Call me a 10%'r. constantine
ASC you answered your own question there...
IAN is the rest 10%...i am deciding which majority/minority is more beneficial... asc_26 ehhhhh...be honest Ian. you are a mature man right?
I don't chuck a spaz if I'm not getting se.x. That's ridiculous.
But you do! not all the time though.  "score" is not perfectly equal to "Se.X" U know. ^ian^
I don't chuck a spaz if I'm not getting se.x. That's ridiculous. asc_26
so what's the 10%? asc_26
ehhhhh...be honest Ian. you are a mature man right? constantine
Ian ...perhaps down south to do a hoe down....lol...dang i think i might have effectively taken this thread down south...yeeehah!! constantine
ASC
that could potentially solve 90% of the problem...and perhaps divert world war 3...if only women understood us...sigh...   ^ian^
Hrmmm I will deny this. Sometimes one can get moody, but not all the time.

asc_26 Men got moody if they were not able to “score” with their woman (gf, wife, part time lover etc) or anyone who’s their subject of desires & affections. This is where their PMS starts. Men, please don’t deny this.
Ladies, if they're moody, dont nag give them time to cool down but of course you've to watch where they are going.  noni
temple of lurve
me off now....thanks for all your imput tantric lova and ian constantine
i'll take the first choice please...hahahahaha...not saying i am homophobic or anything..."women only" for me please...
btw man guru sounds like a porn star name...
"hi i am man guru...i will solve all your tantric problems...please make a donation to your nearest temple of lurve""
noni to answer your question "use the force" in english it means use your intuition... ^ian^
No. It could mean I need to think about my new car stereo. noni
so are we to decipher if its "i need my man time" or "i need to think about this relationship time?" ^ian^
Obviously I'm not Const. but I'll answer on a guys perspective, that yes, a guy can be like "I need time" to sort things out in their head.
Why on Earth not? noni
hahahahaha! good advice....relationship guru? or man guru? constantine alright noni all i can say is...if he is taking too much time out...then it aint really time alone...its just an excuse...you are a woman...you intuition is far more pronounced than most of us lot...or him for that matter...what does your intuation say...also all the classic tell tale signs...if he adores you or its a committed relationship...and if he doing this time alone to do legit things as you say....halleluyah...he will come back wanting you even more...and probabaly you could do with a breather yourself...its never good to crowd/smuther yourself...as you will end up accelerating what could actually be a good slow burner sustainable relationship...where as if he "rationing" his time with you...its a classic sign of not being totally sure or committed to you...and i am not emplying disloyalty and cheating at all...it might just mean either of you aint sure about things...or its too early...you know its a right of passage...these 3 month/6 months/ a year into a relationship...once you've hit the 3 year mark...you'd better get a bling bling or its time to... :D noni
No need to apologize const...not offended at all...Okay maybe I would like to KNOW inside what is up with the guy..but I really would not push the issue and I can deal with not knowing....
if he says something like "i need my man time" Because if they need their time I would know its nothing about the relationship. But if you leave us wondering whats up and saying "nothing," it is human nature to assume that something is wrong. Just be straightfoward (as long as you really do need your man time and not going out with other girls hahaha) and I can deal with it. If the guy is like "i need my man time" and its legit ..I will def not prod or nag..it would be a sign for me to back off.
And just to clarify...answer this for me const, if there is a problem in the relationship would a guy ever be like "i need time?" I doubt this.....
constantine
hmmm...hmmmm....hmmmm.... ^ian^ I think this gets back to the whole "what do guys talk about?" thing. Oddly enough, we usually don't talk about girls. constantine
noni
no disrespect...but every girl thinks she isnt that kinda girl...she is cool/calm/collected...but inside she is just dying to know/"let him express it out"...i mean come on...there is nothing to express here...its called "quiet time"...not explain why i went quiet in the first place...every girl thinks she is beyond nagging...but it aint true...when you care for a person...you nag/bother to find out/prod/question...the true nature of really being "cool" about it...is keeping your curiosity at bay and really trying to do your own thing...and hey trust me... if i start with a line like"this has nothing to do with you"...it will have everything to do with you/your dog/your clothes/the last time we went out/why arnt we going doing something/why is it so structured...it has EVERYTHING to do with you...because we care too...its what makes us different...i am just trying to give you an insight on how "we" work...shall i end with this has nothing to do with you?  ^ian^
Yes, I call I-time. :D :D :D noni See I am all about the guy having his own independent time and the same with me. Never in my life would I ask "where do you see us in 5 years" or be nagging..... I am just not that type of girl. But when a guy is in that kind of mood it would just be nice if they could express that..and just be like "this has nothing to do with you, I just need my man time" and khalas. ...because I have no interest in talking to them either when they are in that mood. :P noni
noni burn???!!!
thats mean!!!!! MaaaD
best reply. ever. ^ian^
What bugs me the most? Hrmm well, interruptions being the obvious one.
For me it's kind of like meditation, mentally I try to file the days events in my brain, ponder human interactions, think about life, the universe and everything. That kind of thing.
If someone tries to pull me out of this phase I get quite cranky, not their fault, but I need the mental quiet time to digest.
How long does it last? No longer than an hour, then the extroversion kicks in and I need to be around people again.
Living on my own now has made me a bit more used to not being around people, and given me more time to think, so I'm a lot calmer and less erratic. Mint Tulip yorky, you read books???! wow  now for a real reply... yorky500 Until the book is finished or the annoying women leaves you alone! hahahahahaha Mint Tulip
When you're in your "quiet time" phase, what bugs you the most? That someone tries to pull you out of that phase? How long does this phase usually last? ^ian^
It's true though. I need my quiet time, even though I'm quite the extrovert.
I can't be Mr. Happy all the time! Mint Tulip constantine wrote:
This observation is so interesting that I actually read it twice. Bleakus haha your right rvp ;) bear
Hysterical :D rvp_legend
PMS for men = Playstation, Misplaced Somwhere.
EVERY DARN RIGHT TO BE MOODY! ^ian^
Well yes, like the females we have a hormonal cycle too.
We're just better at controlling our moods, but sometimes they get the better of us. Chocoholic There's definately a male version of PMS, that's for sure. bear
Right on dude...
btw noni... burn constantine
i am quite dipper thank you :P ...considering i worked thru EID...perhaps the thought of going away on a holiday soon is egging me on...
honestly i get these so called "moods" when i need time alone to read or think...i am sure most guys do...clear thier head so to speak and actually think before they talk...
from a woman's prespective it can be looked at as "he is ignoring me/sitting there like the BLOB/doesnt want to spend that quality time"
from men's point of view is " i am recovering from that talk we had/the quality time we spend togeather/and if it was so quality who make it into a daily quantity/wouldnt it lose its specialness"
maybe we have sharpened up to the ways of the enigmatic species we so need in our lifes...
as long as we do not ignore what you really are saying/or go to the point of not caring...a bit of quiet and space is all we need to collect our thoughts and come back as oblivious blokes...thats why its no water off our backs when a friend does not invite us to a party and all daggers are out... Bleakus
your not like that are you constantine? ;) constantine moody men = i need thinking time = you are crowding me up = that book that i've been meaning to read for a decade-this is the right millenium to do so = i think i ate something bad last night = maybe i am just having a blank moment = i think that episode of DR. WHO was perticularly troublesome = can we not talk about how do i see us in 5 years = my mouth hurts from talking about it yesterday = i haven't had my first coffee-this is what i look like-my friends beat me at football /playstation/tennis/x box last night/ i followed your directions/ had to wake up early to go see that damn bird show on my only day off....dare i say we are multiple choiced too :P Bleakus wow, where do you chicks find guys like this? Mint Tulip Men who smoke are the moodiest of men I think. A moody man will usually sulk and remain extra silent: 'I don't wanna talk about it' boo-hoo or they do something dangerous like drive erratically (or more erratically than usual) or do something stupid (like have hard liquor for breakfast for example). Whereas moody women tend to yell, talk too much, throw things, throw a tantrums, gossip to their friends about why they're moody, cry, invent hurtful things to say, eat chocolate, etc. etc. (Yeah, I'm generalizing big time, but from my own observations...) Bleakus
good point dude ;) noni of course everyone is entitled to cranky moods...but the thing about MOST men is that they live in denial of ever being cranky...they love to give the appearance that they are just sooo easy going and always in a good mood and im thinking "yeah right!" Even my father becomes so like irritable and pissy...im like thinkin "okay diva" hahahahaha and rvp...don't be a hater because you are in pink denial :P the_zooter We are NOT moody!! d3vilish_ang3l_88 i knw wht u mean noni.. my bf somtimes have these..ANNOYIN...i repeat ANNOYIN mood swings. i feel like they r the ones who r PMSing. KeithL Noni, i think that men behave like women... errr,,.... i mean have mood swings when they are sure that they have their woman wrapped around their little finger. If they were still trying to win the ladies attention, they would never behave in that manner and risk everything. ask me how i know  easternjewel hey watch out! your Quoting is getting all erroneous! bad mood eh? constantine
You've not met me before - I'll admit that I can be quite moody!! It runs in the family - my brother and sister are too - we get it from our mum!!
its a vicious circle i am telling you... the_zooter
You've not met me before - I'll admit that I can be quite moody!! It runs in the family - my brother and sister are too - we get it from our mum!! easternjewel
I must admit, I have never come across a Moody guy...! rvp_legend
You hang with Men who wear pink and then you want to know why their moody?
Stop hanging around the lifters and all will be different ;-) kanelli  Superior  I'm similar to you Noni, although I guess I do have a tendency to get bitchy sometimes, if I am going to get moody at all. Men can get pissy because they keep everything inside and finally blow up. If they communicated as much as women do to sort out their emotions, then they'd be far better off. yorky500 Well, we cannot be the happy smiling faces you ladies always want us to be. I mean, I know we are superior and you women look to us for guidance and happiness, but come-on, please let us have a day off once in a while! noni What is with the moody men??!!!? Typically women usually get more moody, irritated, cranky ...etc...but now I am seeing more and more guys just being quite pissy too. I, myself don't really have mood swings at all like other women. I mean everyone, regardless of gender is entitled to a bad day. But whats up with this moodyness in men? Men....shed some light for me and any women seein this lately? constantine how about trashing the TV instead and chucking ice cream at passer bys...hahaha Bleakus call me up, we will sit down infront of a sitcom and eat ice cream together...lol ;) j/k dude constantine am bad days i am worse...hahahaha.... rvp_legend the debate is settled !!!! asc_26 Seriously speaking, i find most men moody and very difficult to comprehend. It only shows they're chauvinist P..S, gosh..worst they are more fussy than women. Im not a manhater but understanding men is like taking a road to nowhere. I still want to take that road though. Noni, good post. sage & onion
Wow, and you say your not a man hater, but you sure don't have anything good to say about us  asc_26 I need a man. How can I be a man hater? Just that, men in general are very difficult to comprehend. Tell us why? Jamal baby .. mould me the way you want me ... 8) Scare Face Hey- people in general are just getting more moody, we want more, we want more of everything we want the relationship to be in more like the movies more prefect the girl where with to look prettier, AND NO MATTER IF SHE IS THE PRETTIEST, we want more- we are just pushing we want things faster then previous generations, porches largest age market 5-10 years ago wa men in there Mid life crisis men of 50+ years now its young adults.....its too crazy.. and when we have something worth while we piss it away. chassing a dream that might or moght not come true.. thats why where moody, where moddy with our selves not you lovely ladies asc_26 Men become moody because of things blah blah..then why you men take that on us - ladies? if you have a bad day etc etc...why you take that on ladies? now i understand why we have battered gf, wives and ladies. Poor Women. :( Jeevan Its not that just men are moody, women are moody too, i guess its all about respecting each others space and better understanding of whats happening. If you know someones upset or worried about something, people might react differently in such situations. I personnaly like to be left alone in such situations, others might want someone to talk to. Like Ian said introspection is the time when i dont like to be disturbed, if someone does that just might end up being ignored or get a blunt answer. But men are not that bad :) asc_26 Jeevs, moody women can be handled easily, but with men? i dunno...they will say i need space..for what? space to be alone? space to be with other peeps, etc etc.. im not saying men are not entitled to space or bad day, but i dunno.. really i can't figure it out. :( :( :( Corcovado
U know I used to think the same way, and I met one of these moody men with the space shit :? at the end i gave him a rocket and send him there   but now after my current boyfriend i changed my mind cos I am moody like the wind   and believe me I cant be handled easily i mean i cant even cope with myself 8) but strangely enough he does and when he is moody he tries to control it so it doesn't bother me :oops so both men and women can be moody and unbearable but the trick is to know how to control it .:
