Are they really changing position or is this a divide and conquer move to divide up the Linux camp especially with Oracle stopping to back RH anymore ??

having a tie-up with Microsoft in developing linux is a bit off track in terms of the objective of open source community.
Open Source is building software that gives away their source codes for better enhancement of the program. If MS can do then i don't see any other bad reason for the tie-up. But tweaking Linux to conform with MS is a bad idea.
Besides a lot of those who shifted to Open Source don't want to use MS Products. Now why would we want a Linux that conforms to MS OS...tsk.tsk.tsk.
Just my opinion.

Thats what Vista is .. kinda. Its a mixture of Linux and XP. Its cool and all, but I don't think its as user friendly to the consumer as XP is.
