Merciless or Merciful?

Jamal it does .. hmmmm ..
mema there is a mobile reception between Dubai n Abu Dhabi we chat all the way on mob.. had a flat tyre once many cars stopped to help..strange story... Nick81
Hey there! :D Hope your trip to Sri-Lanka went well!
Well listen, there are thousands of parts in a car and any of them might have been faulty. Like you said the article didn't include any details about the car problem but why assume it was something trivial? Sometime it's just not your day... Happened to me quite a few times and I am sure it must've happened to everyone on the forums. NOTHING seems to work the way you want them to. It's like a chain of events that lead to the "worst day in your life". How many times did you say this? How many times did you say "it can't possibly get any worse than that" (and it does... )
This guy could've just had one of these days... PrettyPenny Hey Nick! How are u? Anyway, I disagree. This man is a mechanic whose car broke down. As a mechanic he must have had some awareness that something may go wrong. Isn't it wierd that there isn't a mention of what exactly went wrong with the car? Did he forget his spare tire? Did he ensure that during the trip him and his family wouldn't be stranded? My take on this is as such. He screwed up, his wife is ready to kill him, he needs to blame someone, so he blames all the people of UAE. Easier to say ALL of UAE is merciless than to admit that he made a mistake. Seems very convenient. His phone didn't work??? Pfft. In effect he's blaming Etisalat as well! PrettyPenny sounds like my weekend in the airport with 4 delayed flights!!! now i'm doing my nails, catch u soon!! PS Sri Lanka rocks! Nick81 ^ That's pretty harsh I understand your point but that still doesn't justify why a MAN wouldn't stop to help. The chance of a guy using his family to lure people and rob them in the UAE is as likely as getting struck by lightning. Now without being se xist, maybe a woman wouldn't feel comfortable stopping to help (well she could stay in her car and just ask if they want her to call someone to help them) but why would a guy not do something about it?? No it's simply a lack of civism, a lack of civism I am confronted to every single day in this country. Simple as that, so let's not turn this issue into something it isn't. mahmoodb What is happening in UAE?
Is my feeling wrong?
Is this real:
When u travel to Europe, you clearly can feel the cold eyes looking at you but why this is happening in UAE, as an Arab and Muslim country?
Mixing two different cultures... what would be the result baby?
Why people try to behave against what they really are?
who cares... freza This is wrong on so many levels! I wonder, during all those hours, did not a single police car pass by and see these stranded people?? bushra21 If there are children or women I make it a point to stop. I cant really stop if it is only men though -- seeing as I cant be of much help. But that is really horrible, the poor family. d3vilish_ang3l_88 how rude are the people......

zam Poor stranded family :? .... but how can we blame the people who just passed by and didnt stop? There could be a million reasons for not stopping. Jamal how the fuck did this even make the news ... i mean puhlease .. there is a million other worse things going around... PrettyPenny I wouldn't stop for reasons of safety.
Boohoo to Mr. Kutty. He should have taken in to consideration that he was driving a distance with his family and had his car serviced or checked for whatever problems cud arise. My dad, bless his heart, did something similar on his way back from Hajj. My mother was with him and the only person that stopped for them was a truck driver. So they hopped in, went to the closest gas station, then hitched a ride back. Or some such thing. Needless to say, she checks the car herself now. Hope Mrs. Kutty takes similar precautions in the future.
Men!! Palkid7
Well don't worry, if I c u on the side of the road looking for help be sure that I will try my best to help u !!!
I believe in Karma so always try to do good things, cause what goes around comes around !! 8) 8)
