Mc'Donalds french fries

a_y_a_z_z Hello all, recently i got a mail from some a guy. In that email there was something written about the way Mcdonalds french fries are exported. Sorry if the english is not correct. Its been translated from french. A new scandal published in the Times and reported by the BBC: Mc donalds prefry its french fries in USA and then freeze and export in all its subsidiaries worldwide. The problem is that after they have cut them, they soak them in a thin layer based of pork fat or fat derived from cattle (killed by electric shock) which gives them their raw crispy form after frying. Thus, these products are found everywhere in the world and especially in Muslim countries and India. Thus the company has apologized to India and the Hindu community and the vegetarian community. As for the Muslims they do not care and we can still expect an apology. As a result our English brothers investigated and confirmed the information and opened a site / Russia has threatened to close of all McDonald's restaurants on the ground if the U.S. firm did not change its methods of preparation using other oil in place of vegetable oil. For more sources and accuracy of the site of the BBC in Arabic Muslim countries are mentioned above, so im wondering if dubai is concerned?? Can this be true??

Depends what you trust more - an 8 year old email, or the Dubai Municipality and MacDonald's.
You believe every email you get? I have a few you may be interested in, some with potentially lucrative returns on Nigerian bank account investments ;).
According to the story, McDonald's don't use pork or beef fat in Muslim countries. Anyway do you not think an organisation like McDonalds' would have been closely scrutinised by the authorities before setting up in the UAE (and especially in Saudi Arabia)? a_y_a_z_z
lool, usually i don't coz its on small things but this kinda scared me, thinking of all the big fries i have eaten
what worried me was that they imported the fries from the US. muslim countries is mentioned in the story, thats why i needed confirmation.
So basically, we can ignore this? znassif You shouldn't be worried if it was pre-fried with pig fat or not.. What matters more is that frying with trans-fat oil causes cancer! a_y_a_z_z ooh god this is scarier than before. lool i think it depends on the intake. i take around 2 times per week Tim Patterson McDonalds fries are nasty, nasty fake food. michaeldubai look at it this way - it may be rumours or it may be not. - although it it can be done - mcdonalds or anywhere else. But what if you do stop eating french fries. you just added a few more years to your life! ArchitectRoel How bout KFC? BURGER KING? etc.. portland uhm! yummy! Sharp Oh God!. that is Just a rumer, i wont stop eating that, it's testy!........
