OUT PATIENT ADMISSION DEPARTMENT
Receive the unit, check equipment, check completeness, cleanliness of the units, assist doctor when examining patient, makes record, interview patient and family member, gives treatment and administer medication as ordered by the doctor, explain on the care and management of patient, coordinates to ward nurses for patients admission.
PEDIATRIC WARD
Receives patient, administer medication and manages fluid therapy, makes rounds frequently and refer to the physician for any manifestations notes, chart accurately all observations and changes noted, updates kardex, makes round with physicians, plans, assist and give nursing care to patient
MEDICAL-SURGICAL WARD
Checks and receives patients, administer medications and manages fluid therapy .makes rounds as frequently as necessary for the purpose of observing, assessing and meeting patients need, instructs and checks all patients, before they go to surgery and complete the pre-operative checklist, visits and attends to all post-operative checklist immediately on their return to unit, makes round with the staff and physician, carry out doctors orders, conducts team conferences, chart all observations and changes in conditions on the appropriate patient chart, updates kardex, checks chart daily for accuracy and completeness, plans, assist with bedside nursing, give care to patient, instructs patient regarding diagnostic or operative procedures, discharge patient and give health teachings in simple nursing procedure in home care.
EMERGENCY ROOM
Attend immediately to patient and assists doctors in giving emergency measures, check on equipments and apparatus ready for patients use, administer medications, treatments as ordered by the doctors, records accurately patients conditions.
