Hey All,
I recently got a Magellan Maestro GPS unit from china with me, and I need to get maps for the UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi basically. Any idea on where I might find them? I'm starting to think there are non out there..note even like third-party maps

I know nothing about Magellan, I have a bad feeling that they don't specialise in Middle East maps though :(
If you are slightly technically able you might want to play around with map formats, make your own base map, etc. Seems you can also download Garmin maps (try torrents or usenet) and convert them.
Google for sites like this for information:

Otherwise front up and buy a decent Garmin, or download cracked software and maps for your mobile phone :P
