This is a long shot but I hope that you can assist me or point me in the right direction.
I am a Cowdenbeath FC supporter in Scotland and I have been set a task to get all the autographs of the championship winning team of 2005/6 and one ex player I am trying to track is a Scotsman called Stuart Baird who I believe left Scotland and is working on a building site in Dubai - thats all I know.
I have his DOB and nothing else.
I actually visited Dubai last November and I know that the city is nothing but building sites. Like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Can you offer me any advice.

Hi John,
With the downturn in building here he may well have upped sticks and gone home. Or more likely moved on to try another country, you Scots are your country's biggest export :D
Good luck finding him anyway, I don't know what to suggest apart from making an interesting story around it (maybe it's for charity..) and trying to get the UAE newspapers to run it for you.
